It's a Lilly set (suspended actually) on the glass of a scanner. I scan at night & leave the scanner lid open so all the background falls away to black. I do have to edit for dust & pollen because at the higher resolution, every particle gets scanned to. It's about 8 hours of PhotoShop work, just to clean the image for presentation.
